Washing

Use vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt. It’s surprisingly efficient on all kinds of dirt. 

Stains can be wiped away with a slightly damp cloth. For more difficult stains, put a cloth under you rug and use more water and a little bit of soap to wash away the stain through the rug into the cloth.

Best trick for stains of red wine, soak the stain with white wine. Like magic, the stain will be gone in the morning.

Small rugs and rug pillow cases can be washed in your washing machine, hand wash program 30°C.

For larger rugs we recommend professional rug cleaning.

Our rugs are turnable. Meaning you can flip the rug over and enjoy a fresh rug for just as long.

When the rug is placed in direct sunlight it may fade. We recommend that you rotate and turn the rug over in order for it to fade evenly. That will also give a more even wear of the rug. 

Rug underlay

Our rug underlay ads comfort and wear protection, for sustainability. Handwoven rugs vary in size and when sewn together uneven areas may appear. Once in place the rug will adjust and in time it will flatten. A rug underlay will instantly provide your rug with a smooth and flat surface.
